Like a spring waiting to uncoil. Still, this is layered and full of classically ripe fruit, not oaked or overripe. This wine needs five years minimum and should be awesome. Significantly more backwards than the '04 tasted a few weeks ago. In time, it will be interesting to see if this becomes the better wine...I am not sure.(93+)
