Sunday, June 8, 2008 - A bright nose that really opens up with a little coaxing; hints of menthol and cedar. The same is true with the palate, which puts on some depth with time in the glass, but remains slightly hollow on the midpalate. Some remaining tannins on the finish. A couple of points better with a steak than on its own (91-92pts). Will try decanting my remaining bottle for an 45-60 minutes.
