Wednesday, February 21, 2007 - Heady nose of brown sugar, figs. Raisins, figs, sweet honey on the palate with more subtle oxidative notes of nuts, caramel. Some nice acid kicks in on the finish, but it also burns a bit from obvious alcohol. Regardless, this is a very fine drink, with more balance and interest for me than most inexpensive PX sherries or tawnies.
