Thursday, November 26, 2009 - Ruby color. Raspberry/blackberry and coffee nose with some wet-gravel, barn yard manure components to it. Does suggest a classic Bordeaux nose. Medium-full bodied. Red fruits on the attack with a little bit of chocolate casis. Good fruit profile, but it lacks concentration comparing to average 2005 left-bank reds, perhaps due to early-picked grapes that weren't fully ripened. Short to medium finish with good tannin and declining fruit and acidity balance. Drink now.
