Nose shows ripe, pure red fruit, still quite youthful but with a distinct meaty/gamey edge. Medium full bodied, quite powerful but with vibrant acidity. Deep and long, although tannins are still a touch drying on the finish, suggesting this may yet benefit from a few more years. ****(1/2).
