Thursday, June 25, 2015 - One of the joys of opening older Bordeaux is simply twirling and sniffing. And This certainly doesn't disappoint. First, medium red and some bricking as expected. Nose opens and moves between light mature raspberry, blackberry, coffee, cigar, and oak. All in harmony. Nice balance through mid with a bit of acidity on the finish. Slight tannins. IMO, drink now or sooner rather than later.
