I like the blast of garrigue, especially thyme and sage, this gives you upfront, but there's also some mostly unwelcome weirdness going on too with a heavy duty cleaning solvent as well an outright soapiness that detracts. Diisturbingly low acid palate, dry at first but sweetening somewhat with chewing, although a serious tannic presence never emerges. Most disappointing on the dilute finish of water-and-alcohol, leaving a spiritous aftertaste. I hope this is not a represenative failure, but there is not a pathognomonic flaw here to reassure me in this regard.
