Saturday, March 26, 2011 - Tasted alongside the1995-1999 vintages this was the bruiser of the group. Rich and opulet but lacking some of the uncanny balance and freshness displayed by its siblings. Needs time, but not convinced this will ever be a great Monte Bello - acidity a little lacking
