Saturday, October 11, 2008 - Agree with most of previous tasting notes. Enjoyed with Kim over dinner and into the next day. Really an exceptional blended pinot from multiple vineyards from Oregon's Willamette valley. Very fruit forward and spicy bouquet with cherry, plum and white pepper as well as some floral overtones present. Good mouthfeel, full body with silky texture and pleasant surprisingly long aftertaste with prominent white pepper and black tea on the aftertaste. Surprisingly complex wine with great structure and very well integrated at this point. More fruity and complex but not quite as smooth as their single vineyard products, especially Jerusalem Hill. Definite spice and white pepper overtones with primary flavors of cherry, plum, blackberry and also some mocha, vanilla and cedar as the palate settled. Very good wine which is drinking very well at the moment - highly recommend this especially for the price point. Looking forward to the last '03 and then to the '04 comparison.
