Very subtle nose of earth, some dark fruit, black pepper, smoke. On the plate, the fruit comes out as blackberry or dark cherry with more earth and spice, all very subtle. Rich, smooth. A nice tang focussing the fruit on the back of the throat. Long pleasant finish.
