Saturday, February 16, 2013 - Medium garnet color. Nose was somewhat muted with some dark red fruit and green pepper coming through along with some oak related notes. Cherry and red currant flavors on the palate with some woody oak flavors coming through. Very dry tannins and a little hollow on the midpalate. Not much of a finish either. You can tell the wine was well made but overall this was a disappointment.
