Monday, May 18, 2015 - Light ruby/garnet color. Plum, cherry, and light garrigue. Medium weight (light for Chateauneuf), supple sweet red fruit that shouts Grenache, completely open, easy style with a bit of tobacco leaf and an interesting truffled component as well. One could quibble and ask for more acidity and tannin, but this is a damn good basic cuvee which is currently saying "Come hither".
