Wednesday, August 13, 2014 - Ruby with browning and some sediment. Initially it was all red fruits and some earth. There was an astringency on the finish initially that wasn't nice, but this eventually started to go away. Later on the wine took on a meaty, unami component. Good wine, but it was better a couple of years ago.
