Tuesday, June 30, 2015 - MWS Wine Tasting and Dinner (Restaurant Jaimie van Heije, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, NL): Light colour, mature but lively appearance; smoky nose, stalks, sous-bois, hint of rosehip and cranberry, opens up to roses; light and elegant palate, just avoids thinness, lovely balance and freshness, firm but mature tannins; very good length. Not an easy wine, but I like it.
