Monday, March 22, 2010 - Deep red, but with a slight brick-red coloured edge. Plums and prunes on the nose, with a touch of leather. Stables! Yes that's it, horse, saddle and hay! There is some oak as well, but not at all disrupting. The palate shows typical black fruit, with some caramel often found in northern Rhônes. Nicely integrated oak, fruitdriven and soft, well-balanced acidity. Medium long aftertaste. Surprisingly good in regards to the tasting notes on cellartracker, brilliant with Osso Bucco.
