Sunday, January 27, 2013 - Golden. Compared to the basic MV, the 1996 Krug has heaps more of complexity and depth. It's particular evident on the super intense and full-bodied palate. Drink this colder than usual as the acidity gets searing as the wine gets warmer. Still feisty, still bold. Will take many years for this to mellow down. A wow wine and a great example of a 'young' vintage Krug.
