Friday, June 11, 2010 - Very, very enjoyable "old style" Napa cabernet. Much more sedate than the offerings from 2003 (though I love those too). Nose is slightly muted, but over time opens with aromas of currant, cocoa, and tobacco. Solid plum and black currant fruit, with little alcohol on finish. Very balanced wine. This is drinking beautifully now, though I'm not sure it's going to improve over where it's at now.
