Tuesday, February 12, 2008 - Made in Austalia by a famous Rhone producer.
Popped and poured.
Deep and bright ruby color.
Nose plenty of cherries, currants and oak.
Thick and full-bodied.
Flavors of black forest fruits, licorice, cherries, oaky vanilla and exotic spices (green pepper, cinnamon, clove).
Quite sweet aftertaste.
Good shiraz but not exceptional.
I think the Aussie producers do it better...
