Got some orange and citrus on the nose and the midpalate contained some of the SLH nuances of smoke, earth and dark fruit. However, the wine disappeared like a fine mist and lacked balance overall..very disappointing. Had a similar experience with a Miner Gary's '02 bottle and I think it could be related to the vineyard. Gary's is a day one experience that has some nice fruit, but paired against a Rosella's or Pisoni, it doesnt stand a chance. Had a Siduri Rosella's afterwards that blew it away.
