Saturday, June 27, 2015 - Yet Another 60th Birthday Dinner (The Hills of Northern California): Medium yellow. Some ripe citrus juxtaposed against even more oyster shell and brothy notes. Rich but very well constituted with a convincing Chablis finish of firm acidity and minerality. From both of my experiences with this wine, I think Fevre hit a home run with this cuvee, which outpaces both the Dauvissat and Raveneau Clos in this weird, overly exotic vintage. None of those excesses could be found in this bottle.
