Thursday, November 15, 2012 - They thought that if they took away my power and my internets that I wouldn't drink wine. Lets just say that the three years taken off my life as a result of Hurricane Sandy prove that I am man with a mission so calm down and listen. This wine is the jam; dont give me no heat like sam the butcher bringin' alice the meat or like fred flinstone driving around with bald feet.

This was a good recovery wine. There is nothing more than I like in a wine (as you know from my notes) than syrah. This wine overdelivers.

Pours magnificent purple in the glass. Violets, bacon, barnyard (very deucey), smoke, pepper, an old tin of bandaids. Wet slate.

Fruits are wonderful. Nice acidity, clean black and blue fruit flavors, and a long finish.

This is where I would be witty (too lit).

Phish show. 12/6/97 Set II. Oh Lawrdy!
