Saturday, May 9, 2015 - Decanted for 2 hours and this is actually necessary for a 1989 wine. The color is old mature Bordeaux, so is the smell. It smells like raisin, blackberry, black currant (cassis), plum, mineral, espresso and light toast. The body is medium but with smooth and silky texture. Long finish, truly delicious, it tastes better than the 1994 Latour which was in pair for the dinner.
