Sunday, August 30, 2015 - A lovely wine. Very aromatic, with an attractive and rather gentle nose of cherries, malt, hints of spice cake. On the palate, lush and mouth-filling, sweet yet balanced by the soft tannins, long finish. Really a delicious wine. My main criticism is that the midpalate seems muddled and as a result, the wine itself comes off as a bit soft and undistinguished. But very enjoyable to drink.
