Thursday, December 3, 2015 - A wonderful effort. It is very dense and actually a bit restrained at present. The latter is taken care of by some proper aeration. Dark fruit, elegant led pencil, tones of cacao and butterscotch adjoined by lovely orange zest and clove permeate the nose. There is a very subtle green tone, but this disappears after just a few minutes in the glass. The palate is incredibly balanced and integrated with pleasant acidity and velvety tannins. There are still some hard edges though, but I am sure some more time in the cellar will take good care of those.
