Saturday, September 20, 2014 - Incredible wine - nose of sweet cherry, pepper and a hint of graphite. Palate displays dark cherry, smoky tar, licorice and nicely integrated tannins. Zippy, slightly acidic lingering finish seals the deal. Carlisle's 2005 syrahs are drinking great right now.
