Friday, February 5, 2016 - Decanted for 30 minutes before pouring. Deep dark ruby red color. Essence of spices, bell peppers, cocoa, caramel, mint and coffee. Nice layers of bing cherries, chocolate, licorice, figs and toast. Very long finish with nicely harmonized acidity and tannins. This wine has a couple more years before it plateaus.
