Saturday, June 27, 2015 - From Coravin. Aromas of honey, bees wax, orange, something slightly floral; like honeysuckle, an oxidative element, cream and slight vanillin hints...with time a slight herbaceous note encroaches. On the palate the wine is rich with almond notes, honey, fig and a waxy texture. With time a marzipan note comes through as well...Long on the finish. Again a slight oxidative note on the palate. I'm really trying to ration this because it is soooo good but I don't think it will get past the end of the year...
