Friday, May 15, 2015 - Albeit the label, this is actually an outstanding wine. The wine started with a lot of rusty smell, but after 2 hours of decanting, it gave away the initial flavor and showed black currant (cassis), blackberry, plum, mineral, coffee, cedar, medium toast, lead pencil, meaty and chocolate - a wide spectrum of smells. The body is less impressive, but still smooth and rounded. medium finish. The wine has the highest QPR among my Bordeaux collections.
