Sunday, January 8, 2006 - Overall a nice wine, but disappointing in my mind since I was prepared for a more muscular bordeaux. Color deep ruby and looked a bit thin. Black cherry and cassis on the nose -- a nice fruit. Taste a bit tart at first but did sweeten . Obvious fruit and well balanced. No tannins. Moderate finish. Would have made a very good wine but I thought it was a too thin in body/texture. I like my wines big. If you have any of this lying around drink it now but do let it breath for about an hour before consuming. Further cellaring is probably unnecessary.
