Monday, October 27, 2014 - I was wrong in my last tasting note on this wine (I think it was 3 years ago). I had said that I felt like it did not have a long life left, but this baby is just motoring along and seems to be continuing to improve.

This is an amazing BC wine, but very pricey for what you get (The bottle looks impressive, though). The nose is relatively powerful, jumping out of the glass. It seems to die down a bit after an hour or so, and needs some swirling to bring it back. Notes of spice, dark fruit. A still a little hot with nice flavors of slightly tart black cherry. Tannins are smooth and the finish is long. This baby has legs! I would say it could probably use another 3 years in the cellar.
