Sunday, August 7, 2016 - PnP. Perfect cork just wet on the bottom. Dark red - no clearing at the rim. Intense nose of spice, Sangiovese dust, dark fruits. Quite full on the palate and initially rather forward but the tannins still lurk on the finish. Went beautifully with a garden tomato and eggplant pasta dish. Still young.
