But the balance (acid structure) is classic Burgundian. Not overly acidic, just a nice harmony, which provides a full mouthfeel/richness in the mouth. There is a depth (partly from the oak characteristics) and weight rarely found in the New World whites.

Certainly not showing beyond its 1er Cru weight class, nonetheless very enjoyable.

Because there are only trace hints of the mature secondary nut/wood/leather characteristics found in great weight Burgs - because ti shows more as a Burg dressed up in California casual - I don't t think this would improve drastically with further aging, though I also think holding through age 15 would be of no harm, perhaps some added benefit. In its drinking window now, however.
