Tuesday, May 3, 2016 - Was so disappointed by a flabby bottle I opened earlier tonight that I was compelled to open another that I know had some reliable structure. This did not let me down. Dark opaque ruby. Intense flavors of black plums, blackberries, lavender, woody musk, earth, rosemary and white pepper. Extremely masculine and nuanced. Medium+ acid and supple tannins. Focused and inviting finish. Wish I had more in the cellar.
