Tuesday, November 15, 2011 - this is what I consider classic aged German Riesling. Petrol, bruised apples, juicy pit fruits, some slate and decent acids. Had a slight nose of stinky cheese but nothing like the 88 it was tasted next too. After a while in the decater it started to express a very unique jalapeno note that was very interesting. Really enjoyed this wine and it went well with sausage and apple pancakes.
