Wednesday, July 1, 2015 - Ruby red with slight lightening around the edges. Over about 1 h, the nose opens up to reveal crushed red cherry and cranberry, hung meat, some asian spice and underbrush. A very refined palate shows crushed, sweet-sour red berry liqueur, silky mouthfeel, medium acidity, no evidence of oak, fully resolved tannins and a long earthy, perfumed finish. Lovely indeed.
