Thursday, September 13, 2007 - Sampled at Vinotecca. Taste glass cost $7.50. Light straw colour. Smells like a woodshed. Tastes like a woodshed. Rich & buttery. Not my style, but not bad if you like liquid oak (82.5).

3/8/2011 1:14:00 AM - Well, I'm not sure if you had an off bottle, or the winery has just changed its style over the years, but the Waugh Cellars Chard as I know exhibits a clean and crisp, almost Chablis-like style. They do not go through ML, so I'm not sure where you get the buttery taste from, and they only use old, neutral oak barrels on this wine...
