Monday, October 3, 2016 - Great bright golden color. Needed about an hour to open up on intense aromas of apricot, confit orange, roasted almonds and lavender honey. The wine is fully coating the palate, without being too thick on the palate, with a great tannic feel, perfect to pair with rabbit and foie gras. Still the apricot with meyer lemon accents with an intriguing curry note. Just a little hollow in the mid palate but sailing on a extra long finish. Great bottle.
