91 Points

Wednesday, January 7, 2015 - 1 hour in mag decanter then consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Blood orange, cassis, and fresh cherries with bacon fat and earthy, mushroom herbal undertones. Palate: High toned with cherries, spice and still good acid and tannin levels. Finish is delicate and medium in length as this is almost Burgundian in style. Still going pretty strong for an 11 year old Bdx and the nose pushes this to 91 pts. Good value at $30.
