Saturday, October 4, 2014 - My worries that this would show as sappy, resinous and all-around overly ripe, were unfounded. Instead, this showed brilliantly, with really great lift, and the EtOH fully resolved. Fine tannins frame this sensibly full-bodied effort quite artfully. Much more balanced and fresh than I was expecting. Held since release and Audozed for 8 hours prior to service. Really happy with my purchase. 14,5% abv, drink thru 2024, recommended

Served non-blind. Excellent with my main course of pappardelle with cinghiale
