Saturday, January 28, 2012 - Dinner at Fred's Bistro with Janie and Cliff. Big cherries, black cherries, dark fruit, chocolate and vanillin notes. Well integrated tannins. Typical for this wine and has become my favorite Italian producer with Pergole Torte being one of the best wines I've ever had. Not many second labels are as good as this montevertine.
