Sunday, January 11, 2009 - Perfumed nose of dark sangiovese fruit, menthol and some toast. Terrific nose.
The palate is very elegant. Quite light on its feet with a limestone base. Not terribly complex at this stage. The emphasis is definitely on subtlety and elegance rather than power. An intellectual wine that will hopefully develop more complexity with time.
