NV Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brut

Community Tasting Note

80 Points

Friday, December 23, 2011 - Tasted at a retail tasting. The first nose was interesting; yeasty and cinnamon rolls but it blew off quickly and became rapidly dull. On the palate, this has quite fine mousse but the flavors are diluted, almost watery. Acidic and almost tart. Easily forgettable and if anybody drinks this as their first champagne and thinks this is representative, they will likely never come back to bubbles.
