1980 Château Lynch-Bages

Community Tasting Note

88 Points

Monday, September 8, 1986 - Dark purple. The bouquet is closed; light dark fruit, light oak, some liquorice and all in a good combination. Although the wine is a little harsh and tannic, the wine is full bodied and the tannin is promising. The acidity is more than ok. Good bitter in the aftertaste. Amazing for a 1980 wine.
