Wednesday, November 25, 2009 - Color: Beautiful deep cranberry. Several remarked on the clarity and wonderful color. Nose: Very expressive nose of various red and dark fruits. You could actually smell this a foot from the glass. Taste: More deep dark fruit with some red fruits as well.Chocolate for sure, but not as strong as before. Light oak and fairly strong but dusty tannins. Opened up nice in the glass as this was a pop and pour. Medium-fuller body. Finish: Flavors of raspberry, blackberry, semi sweet chocolate and again tannins that were quite smooth. This wine would be better suited with an hour decant, but I loved it anyway. I thought this reminded me of some of Spains better juice, such as Clio.Certainly a re-buy!.
