P: Very smoky and oaky is my first impression after my initial sip. Nice structure, jammy fruit and med + alcohol but definitely has the acidity to balance it out. Tannins a little grippy, but not overly mouth drying. Pleasing earthy flavors on the mid-palate that ends with a lingering, spicy finish. A touch hot but I think it will blow off. Hey, I'm really enjoying this. Must order pizza....NOW
