Thursday, April 21, 2011 - Tasted immediately after opening. Opaque purple. Mineral and ripe fruit nose. Black and red fruit, oak and tannins. Richer than the nose led me to expect. Powerful fruit but not over the top. Great balance. Lacks some complexity but at this price point that is nitpicking.
