Somewhat surprising, considering how bold the wine was after several hours of decanting on day 1. Big fruit, quite tannic, and high acidity. Day 2 it had calmed down some, becoming much smoother, yet still over the top fruit and acid. By day 3 it was prunes and cloyingly sweet. Bleh. Score reflects days 1 and 2, as it was singing then.
