Saturday, December 1, 2012 - Black and blue fruits on the nose. Same on the palate, along with a surprising amount of bittersweet chocolate. Much more approachable than I'd expected. Very rich, almost sweet, but balanced by moderate tannins. Terrific finish. If tasted blind, I would have pegged it as new world, not old.
