Sunday, August 13, 2006 - Decanted for one hour. Incredibly open and lush at this stage. Huge nose full of lead pencil, tar, smoke, and black fruit. Loads of fruit on the palate, along with lots of earthy, mineral notes. Great body and texture. Big, but balanced, with a finish that just kept going and expanding. Fantastic young Bordeaux with lots of room to improve.
