Monday, July 22, 2013 - Fascinating wine. It's really high-tech. Nothing for Bordeaux traditionalists but a nice freak trip to the edge of postmodern wine making. Abnormal complexity, extreme tension in the mouth. Haven't seen something similar and the proof, that the record heat in summer 2003 brought some special wine.
But in the end it's a wine like a formula one car: it's not built to last. After some hours the wine falls apart and the density and tension disappear. The next day it tasted completely different - not in a positive manner.
